Newz Desk, Durgapur, August: A day of academic achievement, family pride and new beginnings unfolded at IQ City Nursing College, Durgapur, as the institution on 8th August Saturday celebrated its 3rd Graduation Day 2026 of IQ City Institute of Nursing Sciences at Srijani Auditorium Durgapur, with a grand ceremony attended by graduating students, parents, faculty members and distinguished guests.
A total of 186 students from the M.Sc. Nursing batches of 2022–24 and 2023–25 and the B.Sc. Nursing batches of 2020–24 and 2021–25 received their university certificates during the ceremony.
The opening ceremony was graced by Dr. A. K. Azad Islam (WBCS Exe.), Commissioner, Durgapur Municipal Corporation, as the Chief Guest, Dr. Arindam Banerjee, Principal, IQ City Medical College and Hospital, Dr. B. Chandrashekhar Principal Pharmaceutical Sciences, Prof. Dr. B. Camala, Principal, IQ City Institute of Nursing Sciences Principal, Dr. Mandhan D. Janodia, Registrar–Academics, IQ City Foundation and other faculty members of IQ City Foundation were also present.
Prof. Dr. B. Camala, Principal, IQ City Institute of Nursing Sciences said ‘That the achievement of a student is also a reflection of the support and sacrifices of their families and the institution. With this thought, the graduation ceremony was planned not merely as a certificate distribution programme but as a celebration of the students’ academic journey, perseverance and accomplishments.’
The occasion thus became a celebration not only of academic success, but also of the dreams, hard work, parental support and determination that helped the 186 graduates reach this milestone.
