Newz Desk, Durgapur: August 20, 2026: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has expanded its premium LPG offering, Bharatgas Lite ZIP, to key cities in West Bengal, including in Durgapur, Asansol, Bardhaman, Kolkata and Siliguri
The initiative is part of BPCL’s nationwide rollout of Bharatgas Lite ZIP across 100 cities following its launch in Mumbai on July 18. The offering combines a lightweight composite LPG cylinder with Instant New Connection and Express Delivery services.
The Bharatgas Lite composite cylinder is designed to be lightweight, corrosion-free and transparent, allowing consumers to check the remaining LPG level. The new connection service aims to simplify customer onboarding, while Express Delivery is intended to provide faster cylinder delivery. According to BPCL Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Khanna, Bharatgas Lite ZIP is aimed at making LPG access simpler, faster and more convenient while meeting the changing needs of consumers.
The West Bengal rollout marks another step in BPCL’s efforts to make LPG services more consumer-centric by combining product innovation with convenience, accessibility and faster service.
