Newz Desk, Durgapur/Kanksa, September 26: An anti-drug awareness rally was organised in Panagarh on Saturday under the Nasha Mukt Bharat campaign, on the initiative of Kanksa Gram Panchayat, with students of Panagarh Bazar Hindi High School participating actively. The rally began from the school premises and passed through various parts of the area before concluding near the Kanksa Panchayat office. Carrying awareness messages, the students urged people, particularly young people, to stay away from drugs and choose a healthy and secure future.
Those present at the programme highlighted the harmful impact of drug addiction on young people, families and society. They stressed the need to create greater awareness among students and youth and encourage them to participate in positive and constructive activities.
Kanksa Executive Pradip Rajak, Nirmal Sahayak Sadhan Koner, Panchayat members Pankaj Jaiswal and Anand Kumar, along with students and other local residents, participated in the rally.
Through the initiative, the participants spread the message that staying away from drugs is essential for a healthy, happy and brighter future.
