Newz Desk, Durgapur/Kharagpur: Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Company Private Limited has inaugurated a new warehouse at its Kharagpur manufacturing facility in West Bengal, aimed at strengthening the company’s supply chain and improving customer support.
The facility was inaugurated by Sandeep Singh, Managing Director, Tata Hitachi, in the presence of Hiroshi Hosokawa, President, Spare Parts & Service Business Unit and Executive Officer, along with senior company officials and employees. The state-of-the-art warehouse is expected to improve inventory management and ensure faster availability of critical spare parts and components. The facility will also help streamline the movement of parts and reduce equipment downtime for customers.
Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep Singh said that ensuring timely availability of parts and service support is essential to keeping customers’ businesses running efficiently. He added that the new warehouse marks an important step towards making Tata Hitachi’s supply chain faster, more efficient and reliable. The company said the new facility will further strengthen its aftermarket support network and contribute to long-term customer productivity and business growth.
