Newz Desk, Durgapur: Delhi Public School (DPS) Durgapur organised an educational visit to the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) for its Class X students as part of its Learning Beyond the Classroom initiative.
During the visit, the students explored the IIM Calcutta campus and interacted with students of the premier management institute. The interaction provided them with an opportunity to learn about campus life, higher education and various career opportunities. The students also gained an insight into the academic environment and learning culture of one of India’s leading management institutions. The exposure helped them understand the possibilities that lie ahead in higher education and encouraged them to set ambitious academic and career goals.
The initiative was aimed at extending learning beyond the traditional classroom and providing students with meaningful real-world exposure. The visit encouraged the students to explore new avenues, broaden their perspectives and aspire towards bigger goals.
