Durgapur Gears Up for Navjagran 4.0—Entrepreneurs, Innovators & Artists Under One Roof

Newz Desk, Durgapur: The industrial city is gearing up for a grand international showcase as ‘Navjagran 4.0’, the Bengal Business Council’s flagship trade fair, returns from December 19 to 21 at Corporation Ground, City Centre. This year, Uzbekistan takes centre stage as the Theme Country, with a dedicated pavilion set to highlight its vibrant culture, commerce, and investment potential.

At a press meet held at the Durgapur Press Club on Saturday, Council Chairman Abhishek Auddy and ADDA Chairman Kavi Dutta announced that the fair’s Durgapur edition aims to spotlight the immense commercial promise of the Durgapur–Asansol industrial corridor. The event will act as a strategic bridge connecting MSMEs, startups, and business leaders from across Bengal with the region’s manufacturing and industrial prowess.

What’s in Store at Navjagran 4.0

  • Business & Industry: A massive convergence of entrepreneurs, MSMEs, professionals, and consumers to boost both B2B and B2C engagement.
  • Technology Focus: A tech pavilion and industrial conference curated by NIT Durgapur, along with a special automobile zone.
  • Cultural Evenings: High-energy performances including a show by viral sensations Nandi Sisters, plus an open-mic for emerging bands.
  • Youth Connect: Job-oriented sessions, entrepreneurship workshops, and discussions on the rising “Business of Gastronomy.”

The organizers are confident that this edition will “set a new milestone” in empowering small businesses while accelerating the growth of medium-scale industries. The three-day fair will conclude with an awards ceremony followed by a grand cultural night.
