Newz Desk, Durgapur 17th December: Punjab National Bank’s Zonal Office, Durgapur, on Wednesday hosted an exclusive interactive session with the bank’s Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Ashok Chandra aimed at strengthening engagement with both customers and staff.
During his visit, Ashok Chandra held a series of internal meetings with Zonal Manager Sanjiv Kumar, Circle Heads of seven circles—Burdwan, Durgapur, New Jalpaiguri, Malda, Nadia, Murshidabad and Purulia—and officials from the Zonal Office, MCC, PLP and ARMB, Durgapur. The discussions focused on performance review, strategic direction and operational matters.
A key highlight of the visit was a customer interaction session, where select customers shared feedback and discussed future business opportunities directly with the MD & CEO. The programme concluded with a large town hall meeting, during which Ashok Chandra addressed around 500 staff members under the Durgapur Zonal Office, motivating them and sharing the bank’s vision and priorities.
Zonal Manager Sanjiv Kumar said the visit reflected PNB’s commitment to open communication and inclusive growth, emphasizing the importance of feedback from both customers and employees in driving the bank forward.
