Silver Splendour, 3 kg Silver Wedding Card Goes Viral

Newz Desk, Durgapur: A wedding in Jaipur has drawn widespread attention even before the ceremonies begin, thanks to an extraordinary wedding invitation crafted entirely from silver. Leaving no stone unturned for his daughter’s wedding, Jaipur-based businessman Shiv Johari has spent nearly ₹25 lakh on the wedding cards alone.

The invitation comes in the form of an intricately designed silver box weighing around three kilograms. Richly detailed with fine craftsmanship, the box houses the main wedding invitation inside and reflects a blend of tradition, devotion, and luxury.

The silver box is adorned with detailed depictions of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, along with idols of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi. Adding to its uniqueness are finely sculpted representations of Lord Vishnu’s ten incarnations, making the invitation as much a work of art as a ceremonial announcement.

According to sources, the unique invitation was custom-designed by skilled artisans and took considerable time to complete. The businessman wanted the wedding invite to be memorable and symbolic, reflecting both cultural values and the significance of the occasion.

The lavish invitation has sparked conversations across the city and on social media, with many calling it one of the most extravagant wedding cards ever created. As wedding celebrations in India continue to grow grander, this silver invitation from Jaipur has set a new benchmark for luxury and craftsmanship.
