Durgapur: The SBSTC bus stand at Esplanade serving routes to Durgapur, Asansol, Bankura and Purulia has been shifted to a new location with effect from February 19, 2026.
Buses will now depart from the newly constructed bus stand situated near the Esplanade Green Line Metro station on Jawaharlal Nehru Road. The new boarding point is located on the opposite side of the old Esplanade bus stand.
Passengers travelling to the above destinations have been advised to report to the new stand to avoid inconvenience. The relocation is expected to improve traffic flow and streamline passenger movement in the Esplanade area.
