Newz Desk, Durgapur: The Department of Posts will hold a Postal and Pension Adalat next month for customers in West Bengal. The initiative, announced by the West Bengal Circle, will also be open to customers from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Sikkim.
The Adalat is scheduled to take place on March 17 at 11:30 am at ‘Yogayog Bhavan’, the headquarters of the West Bengal Circle in Kolkata. While the session will be conducted from the headquarters, customers will be able to participate online.
The forum will address long-pending complaints lodged against the postal department that have not yet been resolved. Customers may also raise grievances related to pension matters. However, cases that are currently under judicial consideration will not be taken up during the Adalat.
Those wishing to submit complaints must do so by March 3. Grievances can be sent either by email or by post. Written complaints should be addressed to:

Officials said the Adalat aims to provide a direct platform for customers to seek redressal and ensure quicker resolution of outstanding issues.
