Durgapur: Adhyayan Institute, Durgapur has celebrated a proud academic milestone as its student, Kuntal Choudhury, secured the top position in West Bengal in JEE Mains 2026.
Hailing from Bolgona village, around 30 kilometres from Burdwan, Kuntal’s rise from rural Bengal to state topper highlights his dedication, discipline, and consistent hard work. Over the past two and a half years, he prepared under the mentorship of Durgesh Jha Sir and Ajit Jha Sir at Adhyayan Institute, whose structured academic planning and focused training played a key role in his success.
As he gears up for JEE Advanced 2026, Kuntal will continue his preparation under Ajit Jha Sir (Physics), Durgesh Jha Sir (Mathematics), and Deepak Prajapati Sir (Chemistry).
To mark the achievement, senior faculty members of the institute personally visited Kuntal’s hometown to congratulate him and his family, reaffirming the institute’s commitment to nurturing talent and celebrating excellence.
The institute expressed confidence that Kuntal will continue to excel at the national level as he moves forward in his journey toward IIT.
